I'm Vitória, I am from Portugal and live in Switzerland. My first memories of painting take me back to my childhood. When I was about 4 years old my favorite activities in kindergarten were drawing and making a big mess with paint using my favorite tools at the time: my hands. I have always loved drawing and other creative pursuits like writing or building things. While attending the fine arts university in Lisbon I particularly enjoyed life drawing and the study of the human figure. It was only after university that I discovered my passion for painting. One day I just tried it and fell in love with color, contrast and the freedom I feel when I look at the canvas and start.

 

I am particularly fond of pencil and pen drawings, acrylic and oil paint, wax and oil pastels. If you have any questions don't be shy, reach out. I speak Portuguese, English and my German is a work in progress. :)
